The Calder Prize is presented by the Calder Foundation biannually in recognition of an artist.

In addition to the Atelier Calder residency and an award of $50,000, the artist benefits from the facilitation of the gift of a signature work to a major public collection.

Recipients have been Tara Donovan in 2005 and Zilvinas Kempinas in 2007.
