Alexander Calder: Multum in Parvo
22 April–13 June 2015Dominique Lévy Gallery, New York

Comprised of little-known small-scale sculptures, Alexander Calder: Multum in Parvo was installed in an environment conceived for them by the architects Santiago and Gabriel Calatrava. Taking its title from the Latin phrase meaning “much in little,” the exhibition explored the ways in which Calder’s most diminutive works, ranging from thumb-sized to thirty inches tall, achieve monumental impact.
